Toplumdan topluma farklılık gösteren yöresel yiyecekler ait olduğu toplumun kültürünü yansıtır. Zaman içerisinde yaşanan gelişmeler ve değişikliklerle birlikte son halini alır ve yörenin soyut mirası olarak kabul edilir. Günümüzde yöresel yemek kültürü destinasyon çekicilik unsurları içerisinde yerini almıştır. Yöresel yemeklerle ilgili tüketicilerin zihninde oluşan olumlu imaj tercih nedenleri üzerinde etkili olarak destinasyon imajını olumlu etkileyeceği böylelikle bölge ekonomisine de önemli katkı sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir. Bu kapsamda çalışmanın amacı Ensar şehir Kilis ilinde mevcut Kilis ve Suriye mutfak imajının ve birbirleri arasındaki ilişkinin belirlenmesidir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda araştırmanın evrenini Kilis ilinde ikamet edenler oluşturmakta olup söz konusu evrenden 498 kişiye anket aracılığıyla ulaşılmıştır. Çalışmada yapılan korelasyon analizinin sonucuna göre, Kilis ili mutfak imajı boyutları ile Suriye mutfak imajı boyutları arasında anlamlı düzeyde negatif yönlü çok zayıf bir ilişki olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bununla birlikte Suriye mutfak imajının Kilis mutfak imajı ortalamasının altında olduğu belirlenmiştir. Bunun yanı sıra katılımcıların medeni durum, yaş, eğitim durumu, meslek ve uyruğuna göre Kilis mutfak imajı, cinsiyet, yaş, aylık gelir, meslek ve uyruğuna göre Suriye mutfak imajı bir farklılık göstermektedir.
It reflects the culture of the community where local foods differ from society to society. It takes its end with the developments and changes that take place over time and is considered as the abstract heritage of the site. Today, local food culture has taken its place among the attractive elements of the destination. It is believed that the positive image of local foods in the mind of consumers will influence the destination image positively on the reasons for preference, so it will contribute significantly to the region’s economy. The aim of this study is to determine the image of the existing Kilis and Syria cuisine in the Ensar city Kilis province and the relationship between each other. According to this purpose, the universe of the research is formed by those who reside in the province of Kilis and was reached by 498 people from that universe through the survey. According to the correlation analysis conducted in the study, it was found that there was a very weak relationship between the size of the kitchen image of Kilis and the size of the Syrian kitchen image of a significant negative level. However, it is determined that the image of the Syrian cuisine is below the average of the image of the Kilis cuisine. In addition, according to the citizens' status, age, educational status, profession and attitude, the church's kitchen image, gender, age, monthly income, occupation and attitude, the Syrian kitchen image shows a difference.
