Ortaçağ’ın en büyük Aristoteles yorumcusu olarak kabul edilen İbn Rüşd, büyük filozofun hemen hemen bütün eserlerine küçük, orta ve büyük olmak üzere üç şekilde şerh yazmıştır. Bu şerhler erken dönemde İbranice ve Latinceye çevrilmiş ve hem Ortaçağ Avrupa felsefesini hem de Yahudi düşüncesini derinden etkilemiştir. Batıda İbn Rüşd’ün etkisi, İbn Rüşdçülük akımı altında bütün Avrupayı sarmıştur. Elinizdeki metin, Metafizik eserine yazılan büyük şerhin ikinci (aslında birinci) kitabı olan ‘Büyük Alfa Kitabı’nın bazı kısımlarından oluşmaktadır. Bu kitabın ilk kısımlarının ne Arapça çevirisi ne de şerhi elimizde bulunmaktadır. Bunun yanında, Latince ve İbranice çevirilerinde de büyük şerhin eksik kısımlarına henüz rastlanmamıştır.
Ibn Rushd, considered to be Aristotle’s greatest commentator of the Middle Ages, has honored his great philosopher’s works in almost all three ways: small, medium and large. These charities were translated into Hebrew and Latin in the early days and have profoundly influenced both the medieval European philosophy and the Jewish thought. In the West, the influence of Ibn Rushd surrounded the whole Europe under the flow of Ibn Rushd. The text in your hand consists of some parts of the ‘Great Alpha Book’, the second (in fact the first) book of the great sheriff written in the work of Metaphysics. The first part of this book has no Arabic translation or charhi. In addition, in Latin and Hebrew translations, the missing parts of the great sherhin have not yet been found.
