Said Halim Paşa Osmanlı Devleti’nin son dönemlerinde devlet adamlığı yapmış ve Osmanlı Devleti’nin kurtuluşu için fikirler üretmiş bir düşünürüdür. Said Halim Paşa, Osmanlı’nın içinde bulunduğu buhranı ifade etmiş ve bu buhrandan çıkmak için çözüm arayışlarında bulunmuştur. Said Halim Paşa gördüğü eğitim ve edindiği siyasi tecrübelerin katkısıyla, Osmanlı ve İslam toplumlarının yükselişinin kendi toplumumuza has bir biçimde ve zamanla oluşacağını ifade etmektedir. Bu nedenle Osmanlı Devleti’nin yükselişinin İslamlaşmaktan geçtiğini öne sürmüştür. Sosyal ve siyasal anlamda devletin ve toplumun İslam’ın özüne dönmesi gerektiğini savunmuştur. Said Halim Paşa, İslam Devleti’nin siyasi ve sosyal yapısının nasıl olması gerektiğini belirtirken, Batının sosyal ve siyasi yapısını da ele almış ve Batının kurumlarının bizim toplumumuzda uygulanmasının felaketlere yol açacağını savunmuştur. Çalışmada Said Halim Paşa’nın İslam Devletinin siyasal yapısının nasıl olması gerektiği üzerine düşüncelerine değinilecektir. Paşa’nın düşüncesinde Doğu – Batı’nın sosyal ve siyasi yapısının karşılaştırılması yapılacaktır.
Said Halim Pasha is a thinker who made state humanity in the last periods of the Ottoman State and produced ideas for the liberation of the Ottoman State. Said Halim Pasha expressed the blast that Ottoman was in and found a solution to get out of this blast. Said Halim Pasha says, with the contribution of his education and political experience, the ascension of the Ottoman and Islamic communities will be formed in a way and with time, specific to our own society. This is why he suggested that the ascension of the Ottoman State passed from Islamization. In the social and political sense, he defended that the state and society should return to the essence of Islam. Said Halim Pasha, while pointing out how the political and social structure of the Islamic State should be, also addressed the social and political structure of the West and defended that the implementation of the institutions of the West in our society will lead to catastrophes. The study will refer to Said Halim Pasha’s thoughts on how the political structure of the Islamic State should be. In the opinion of Pasha, the social and political structure of the East-West will be compared.
Said Halim Pasha is a significant thinker who served as a politician in the last periods of the Ottoman Empire and generated ideas for emancipation of the Empire. He established some perspectives for the emergent Ottoman depression and sought to make emancipatory solutions to it. Through his education and political experience, he stated that the rise of Ottoman and Islamic societies could occur only in peculiar ways to our society in due course. Thus he pointed out that the rise of Ottoman Empire could be possible through Islamization. He expressed that the state and the society ought to return to its traditional Islamic values both socially and politically. In his discourses referring to the social and political structure of Islamic State, Said Halim Pasha also discussed the Western social and political structure and reflected those Western social institutions might lead to destructions if applied to our society. In this article, it will be focused on thoughts of Said Halim Pasha about the essential points of political structure of Islamic State. Based on his thoughts, the difference between Western-Eastern social and political structures will be compared.
