Araştırma, Ankara’nın Etlik, Demetevler, Abidinpaşa semtleri ile Çubuk ilçesinde, sağlık ocaklarına kayıtlı bulunan 0 - 1 yaş grubu 736 çocuk üzerinde yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın ilk aşamasındaki çocukların % 77.7’sin in ağırlığı, % 88.0’in in de boy uzunluğu standart değerlerdedir. Tek başına anne sütü ile beslenme oran % 35.4 olup bu değer, k arışık (anne s ü tü + ek besin) beslenenlerle birlikte % 74.1’e yükselmektedir. Çocukların % 73.7’si yetersiz süre ( 0 - 3 ay), % 20.2’si de ideal süre ( 4 - 6 ay) tek başma anne sütü almaktadırlar. Ticari mama ile beslenme oran ı % 4.5’dir. Araştırmanın ikinci aşamasında ise değişik beslenme şekilleri uygulanan çocuk gruplarından 21’er olmak üzere toplam 63 çocıık seçilmiş ve bu beslenme şekillerinin (anne sütü, anne sütü + ek besin, ticari mama) çocukların ağırlık ve boy uzunluğu üzerine olan etkileri 3 ay süre ile izlenmiştir. Üç ayın sonunda; tek başına anne sütü ve anne sütü + ek besinle beslenen çocukların tümünün ağırlık ve boy uzunluğu durumları, standart ve üstü değerlerde bulunmuştur. Ticari mama İle beslenen çocukların da boy uzunluğu standart değerlerde olup, % 4,8’n in ağırlığı, standardın % 80 altında olarak değerlendirilmiştir.
The study was conducted on 736 children of the 0 - 1 age group registered in the health stores in the Etlik, Demetevler, Abidinpaşa districts of Ankara and the Çubuk district. In the first phase of the study, 77.7% of children have a weight and 88.0% have a length in the standard values. The rate of nutrition with breast milk alone is 35.4%, and this value increases to 74.1%, along with those who feed the breast milk. 73.7 percent of children receive single-mother milk for a short period of time (0 to 3 months) and 20.2 percent for an ideal period (4 to 6 months). The rate of nutrition with the commercial mother is 4.5%. In the second phase of the study, a total of 63 children were selected, including 21 of the children's groups who applied different dietary forms, and the effects of these dietary forms (mother's milk, breast milk + supplementary food, commercial mother) on children's weight and size length were monitored for 3 months. At the end of the three months, the weight and length of all the children who are nurtured with single breast milk and breast milk + supplementary nutrition were found in standard and above values. The length of the children who are fed with commercial mother is also standard, with a weight of 4.8 percent and less than 80 percent of the standard.
