Lojistik, işletmeler ile tüketiciler arasında ürün ve hizmet sunumlarında köprü işlevini görmektedir. Bu yüzden, bir işletmenin ürün ve hizmet sunumundaki başarısı lojistik gücüne bağlıdır ve bu anlamda lojistik, çok önemli bir fonksiyondur. Günümüzde işletmeler arası rekabetin boyut değiştirmesine paralel olarak lojistiğin önemi artmış ve lojistik faaliyetler büyük önem kazanmıştır. Tüketicilerin taleplerine ve beklentilerine bağlı olarak, işletmelerin üretim ve pazarlama maliyetlerinden kaçınamamaları, lojistik faaliyetlerden dolayı oluşan lojistik maliyetlere odaklanılması zorunluluğunu gerektirmiştir. Lojistik maliyetler, ortaya çıkması engellenemeyen ama indirgenebilir nitelikte olan maliyetlerdir. Buna rağmen işletme yöneticilerinin, lojistik maliyetlere gereken önemi verdiklerini söylemek pek doğru değildir. Bu sav üzerine oluşturulan bu çalışmada öncelikle konu ile ilgili yapılan yurt içi literatür taramasına yer verilmiş, daha sonra lojistik maliyetler kısaca anlatılmıştır. Çalışmanın uygulama kısmında ise lojistiği kendi bünyesinde gerçekleştiren veya bu konuda lojistik işletmelerinden destek alan işletme yöneticilerine yapılan anket çalışmasının sonuçları açıklanmıştır. Sonuç kısmında ise anket çalışmasının sonuçlarına yönelik olarak değerlendirmeler yapılmış ve lojistik maliyetleri düşürebilmek için işletmelere birtakım öneriler sunulmuştur.
Logistics sees the bridge function in product and service presentations between
Logistics, serves as bridge between businesses and consumers in product and service offerings. Therefore, the success of business in product and service delivery depends on logistical power and in this sense logistics in very important function. Nowadays importance of logistics has increased and logistics activities have gained importance as parallel to the change in size of competition among businesses. Depending on demands and expectations of the consumers, businesses inability of to avoid production and marketing costs necessitated necessity to focus on logistics costs arising from logistics activities. Logistics costs are, costs that cannot be prevented but can be reduced. However it is not correct to say that business managers give necessary importance to logistics costs. In study based on this argument, firstly domestic literature review related to subject is mentioned and then logistics costs are explained briefly. In the implementation part of the study, the result of the survey conducted to the business managers who carry out logistics in their own structure or receive support from logistics companies in this regard is explained In conclusion section, the results of the survey were evaluated and some suggestions were presented to the companies in order to reduce the logistics costs.
