The aim of this research is to propound the effect of career decidedness and career stress on psychological well-being of students who continue their associate degree education. The sample of the research consists of 430 students who continue their associate degree education in different programs of a vocational school in Sakarya. Questionnaire was used as the data collection method and three different scales were used: Career Stress Scale, Career Decidedness Scale and Psychological Well-Being Scale. Multiple regression analysis was performed to test the hypotheses. Looking at the results of the research, it was seen that career ambiguity and lacking information and external conflict have a negative and significant effect on psychological well-being. Career decidedness, on the other hand, has been found to have a positive and significant effect on psychological well-being. In addition, it was concluded in the study that the independent variable that has the greatest effect on psychological well-being is career decidedness. The findings obtained as a result of the research were discussed and some suggestions were made in this context.
