He has lived in the past and among his composers today, Ludwig van Beethoven has an important place. Since the beginning of music, as everybody has been Beethoven’s teachers leading him throughout his lifetime. Beethoven's first teacher is his father Johann van Beethoven. Beethoven, who was going to work with different teachers at his upcoming age, took his first lessons from his father. Then, Christian Gottlob Neefe, Franz Josef Haydn, Johann George Albrechtsberger, Antonio Salieri, found the opportunity to work with many names. Each teacher has contributed to Beethoven's music life with its different characteristics. Ludwig van Beethoven can be mentioned in his music life with the innovation he especially contributed to the symphony because the human voice to the symphony (9. Symphony is one of the leading composers. During his lifetime, he wrote 9 symphonies, 5 piano concerts, 32 piano sonates, 16 folded quadrats, 1 opera and 5 piano and violin sonates. The aim of this study is to show the teachers in which Ludwig van Beethoven has worked and how he contributes to his music life. Thus, this work can help music performers better understand it while performing Beethoven's works.

Since the beginning of music, Beethoven, like everyone else, had teachers who guided him throughout his life. Beethoven's first teacher was his father, Johann van Beethoven. Beethoven, who would work with different teachers in his later years, received his first lessons from his father. Afterwards, he had the opportunity to work with many names such as Christian Gottlob Neefe, Franz Josef Haydn, Johann George Albrechtsberger, Antonio Salieri. Each of his teachers contributed to Beethoven's musical life with different characteristics. Ludwig van Beethoven can be remembered with the innovation he added to the symphony in his musical lifeespecially, because he was one of the pioneer composers who added the human voice to the symphony (9th Symphony). During his lifetime, he wrote 9 symphonies, 5 piano concertos, 32 piano sonatas, 16 string quartets, 1 opera, and 5 sonatas for piano and cello. The purpose of this study is to present the teachers that Ludwig van Beethoven worked with and his contributions to his musical life. In this way; this study can contribute to the better understanding of Beethoven while performing his works.
