Abstract:

Oral diverticulate is a rare disease. It is seen more frequently in women. They are mostly asymptomatic. However, patients can also face unspesific urine system complaints, such as dizuria, urinary pain, urine incontinence. It is difficult to diagnose due to non-specific symptoms. Diverticulitis can cause complications such as calculate in the diverticul or more rarely tumor development. Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRG) plays an important role in urethra assessment because it has a high tissue contrast resolution. Therefore, patients with treatment-resistant or repeated urine system complaints, considering their uretral diverticles and complications in the distinctive diagnosis, should be detailed with MRG. In this report, we intended to present the findings of rare urethral diverticulitis contrasted sub-Western MRG and diffusion weight imaging (DAG).
