Özet:

Abstract The present work is an experience report of a supervised internship with babies in a public day care center in the city of Campina Grande-PB. Through the experiences with the babies in the observation and intervention periods, based on the theme of body language, the group's routine and the relationships established between the individuals, these with their teachers and with the materials they handled were analyzed. An intervention-research was carried out with the aim of perceiving the place of body language in the teachers' pedagogical practice, using the resources of the field diary, photographs and filming. The theoretical references used to support the research and the analyzes carried out had authors such as Pereira (2009), Malaguzzi (1999), Ramos (2014), Falk (2004), Barbosa (2000) and Goldschmied (2006). The centrality of the body was perceived in the relationships of babies with their teachers, in search of warmth and comfort in the face of the period of insertion in the day care center, as well as with the materials offered, which provided discoveries of movements, sensations and possibilities of expression through the body. Interactions between babies also made use of body language in the form of dispute relationships, shared material exploration interactions and body communication.
