Globalization is one of the important concept nowadays aff ecting our world. With globalization, we have witnessed serious changes in political, economical social and cultural structures in the world. Main factor which impacts this change is the stunning developments in the information and communication technologies. One of the impressive examples in the information and communication technologies is Internet, and Internet is deemed as one of the important inventions of 20th century. Thanks to the invention of Internet, the information shared and the communication at local and international level have been reached to an unimaginable extent and as a consequence of which the world virtually became smaller in that sense. Today, it is possible to access to the information in a cheap and rapid manner. Protection of private life is one of the essential rights and liberties that mankind owns. Protection of private life emerges as an important concept throughout the history, up until now. Interfering with the private life is growing with the fact that internet becomes a part of our daily life. The Law No. 5651 on “Regulating Broadcasting in the Internet and Fighting against Crimes Committed through Internet Broadcasting” was adopted to combat with the crimes committed at internet environment. Afterwards, Article 9/A was incorporated to the said Law. With the incorporation of Article 9/A, now it is possible to block the access to the web page which includes a content that interferes with the private life of people. In this study, within the frame of Article 9/A of the Law No: 5651, it is aimed to find solutions to the problem of contents broadcasted at internet platform which interferes with the private life.
