Abstract:

The aim of this study is to discuss the measures and policies taken by the State of the Republic of Turkey and the Ministry of Health, which is part of it, during the "New Coronavirus (Kovid-19)" epidemic (February 2020-May 2020) that emerges from the end of 2019 in terms of the principles of good governance. The new coronavirus (Kovid-19) epidemic, which occurred in December 2019 in China's city of Wuhan, has shortly affected the entire world. Turkey has been a very well-established one of the countries affected by this epidemic. In comparison with many developed countries, Turkey has passed a successful test. The approach of Turkey in the epidemic process and the measures it takes is clear that good governance contains many elements such as participation, accountability, transparency and transparency, predictability, effectiveness and equality. In our study, we tried to explain how much these principles were implemented.
