Bu çalışmada; Edmund L. Gettier’in üç unsurlu bilgi anlayışının eksikliğine dikkatimizi çekmek için iki durumu ele aldığı “Gerekçelendirilmiş Doğru İnanç Bilgi Midir?” adlı makalesindeki örnekler ve bu eksikliklerin giderilmesine yönelik dört unsurlu bilgi anlayışlarından birini savunan Keith Lehrer ile Thomas Paxson’ın “Bilgi: Sarsılmaz Gerekçelendirilmiş Doğru İnanç” adlı makalelerinde yer alan bazı örnekler üzerinde durulacaktır. İlk olarak söz konusu bu makalelerdeki örneklerin ne tür birer doğal türetim oldukları belirlenmeye; daha sonra da bu türetimlerin doğrudan ve dolaylı kanıtlama yöntemleri kullanılarak geçerli olup olmadıkları gösterilmeye çalışılacaktır.
In this study, Edmund L. Gettier addressed two situations to draw our attention to the lack of three-elementary knowledge understanding: "Is Reasoned True Faith Knowledge?" The examples in the title article and one of the four-elementary knowledge concepts to address these deficiencies will be focused on some examples in Keith Lehrer and Thomas Paxson's articles "Information: Untouchable Reasoned True Faith" which defend one of the four-elementary knowledge concepts to address these deficiencies. First, we will try to determine what kind of natural derivatives the examples in these articles are; then we will try to show whether these derivatives are valid using direct and indirect methods of proof.
