Kur’ân-ı Kerîm’in anlaşılması ve Cenab-ı Hakk’ın murâdının ortaya konulması için İslâm’ın bidayetinden günümüze değin birçok tefsir yazılmıştır. Yazılan bu tefsirlerin bir kısmı Kur’ân’ın fıkhî, içtimâî, tasavvufî vb. yönünü ele alırken diğer bir kısmı da edebî ve i‘câz yönünü incelemiştir. Kur’ân’ın edebî inceliklerini araştıran eserlerin bir kısmı bunu Kur’ân’ın tamamı veya bazı sûreleri ekseninde gerçekleştirirken bir kısmı da tek bir âyeti merkeze alıp o âyette var olan edebî unsurları ortaya koymaya çalışmıştır. Bu alana matuf çalışmalardan biri de 18. yüzyıl Osmanlı müelliflerinden Ömer b. Ali el-İspirî’nin kaleme aldığı er-Risâletü’l-cûdiyye adlı eseridir. İspirî bu risâlede, edebî inceliklerine değindiği Hûd Sûresinin 44. âyetini ilmü’l-beyân, ilmü’l-me‘ânî, el-fesâhatü’l-lafziyye ve el-fesâhatü’l-ma‘neviyye açısından açıklamaya çalışmıştır. Söz konusu eser üzerine henüz müstakil bir çalışmanın yapılmamış olması bizi bu çalışmayı yapmaya sevk etmiştir. Ömer b. Ali el-İspirî ve er-Risâletü’l-cûdiyye adlı eserinin konu edildiği bu çalışmada önce İspirî’nin hayatına ve eserlerine yer verilmiş, ardından zikri geçen eseri nüshaları, konusu, kaynakları, metodu vb. açılardan incelenmiştir.
Many Qur’an commentaries have been written from the early days of Islam to the present day in order to understand the Qur’an. Some of these tafsirs (Qur’an translation) written in the Qur’an, fiqh, social, etc. While dealing with the aspect of literature, another part examined the aspect of literary and i’jaz. While some of the works that investigate the literary intricacies of the Qur’an realize this in the axis of the whole or some of the suras of the Qur’an, some of them try to put a single verse in the center and try to reveal the literary elements in that verse. One of the studies focused on this field is Umer b. the study is called al-Risālah al-cūdiyyah written by Ali al-Ispiri. Ispiri tried to explain the 44th verse of the Surah Hud in terms of ilmü’l-beyân, ilmü’l-ma‘ani, al-fesâhatü’l-lafziyye and elfesâhatü’l-ma‘neviyye, in which he mentioned the literary subtleties. The fact that no independent study has yet been conducted on the work in question has prompted us to do this study. In this study, Ispiri al-Risālah al-cūdiyyah is the subject, firstly Ispiri's life is mentioned and studies are included, then the copies of the mentioned studies and its subject, sources, method, etc are examined from different angles.
