Abstract:

Bu çalışma, toplumsal mekândaki konumları açısından farklı sınıfsal ve kültürel konumlara sahip kadınların gündelik hayat pratikleri dahilinde kapitalist ataerkil sistem ile inşa edilen kentsel mekânla nasıl bir ilişki geliştirdiğini, bu ilişki biçimlerini etkileyen hatta sınırlayan değişkenlerin neler olduğunu toplumsal yapı ile mekânsal yapıya yayılmış iktidar ilişkileri çerçevesinde belirleme amacı taşımaktadır. Öncelikle gündelik hayat ve toplumsal mekân arasındaki ilişkiye dair teorisinden hareketle Lefebvre'in kuramından faydalanılmıştır.

2020
Author:
Abstract:

This study aims to determine how women with different class and cultural positions develop a relationship with the urban space built by the capitalist patriarchal system in their daily life practices, what are the variables that affect or limit these forms of relationship in the framework of the power relations spread to the social structure and the spatial structure. First of all, the theory of the relationship between daily life and social space was taken advantage of the theory of Lefebvre. Foucault then took advantage of Foucault in order to determine the power relationships that play a role in the mutual relationship between daily life and the social space, stating that the power relationships are a whole of machines that encompass everyone. Through this framework, on the basis of the field research, two districts with different class and cultural structures in the town of Tokat, Sulusokak and Karşıyaka examples were attempted to determine the relationship of women with the urban space; this relationship was objectively explained by maping on the basis of the daily life of women.
