Abstract:

The aim of this study is to identify the views of Turkish teaching second-class students on the course of Non-Programme Events in Education (EPDE). In this study, the quality research method was preferred, the case study design was used. The research was carried out with 58 students studying in the Turkish Education Department of the Sivas Republic University Education Faculty in the 2019-2020 educational and educational year. In the study, a semi-configured conversation form was used as a data collection tool. In the analysis of data, the content analysis method has been used. The study found that the majority of students did not have an idea of this course before starting the EPDE course. The EPDE course has contributed to students in the fields "Cognitive", "Sensitive", "Devinational" and "Social". Students have received support from the official institutions and many people while preparing the event in this course. Students in the class; related to the event, personal, in-group, related to materials, related to the formal procedure, related to time, related to space and technical issues, have experienced problems, presented solutions to these issues. Students have pointed out that the EPDE course has an impact on their skills to use material and educational technology, and they think that this course will contribute to their professional lives.
