Purpose: This study was done to evaluate the prevalence, height, and anatomical distribution of the sinus sepsis by using conic radiated computer tomography in the dental and non-dental sepsis. Tools and Methods: This identifying study was conducted with a retrospective assessment of 1322 microscale sinus conic radiated computer tomography images obtained from 661 patients between June 2016 and February 2018. In the study, 1322 maxillary sinuses consisted of 1092 patients with tooth and 230 patients without tooth. The average age of 661 patients (373 women, 288 men) was 42.1 ± 18.2. 1322 maxils were recorded in a total of 468 (35.4%), with an average height of 7.95 ± 4.03 mm. The majority of the 468 sinus seps were in the back area of the maxilar sinus. 121 of them (% 25.8) were in the front, 140 (% 29.9) in the middle and 207 (% 44.2) in the back. When the distribution of maxillary sinus sepsis was assessed in tooth and tooth-free sepsis, 387 tooth-free patients (35.4%) and 81 tooth-free patients (35.2%) had sepsis presence. The result: the frequency of appearance in the seed in various heights and shapes in all parts of the maxillary sinus is high. Therefore, a comprehensive assessment should be carried out with appropriate radiographic technique to prevent possible complications during sinus surgery.
