Abstract:

This study aims at identifiying the appropriateness of the management activities in the General Directorate of Youth and Sports in terms of managerial processes (decision making, planning, organisation, communication, coordination, managing and inspection). This study includes managers and personnels working in General Directorate of Youth and Sports. The questionnaire was applied to 403 managers and personnels, but 369 of the questionnaires were taken into considiration. In the research, t-test including percentage, frequency, and statistical significancy (0.05), Variance Analysis both single and multi variance were employed. The following findings are found out as a result of analyses; 1- The views of managers and staff concerning managerial process differ (p<0.05). 2- In terms of gender, only regarding the process of coordination a distinction was found out both in managers and in staff (p<0.05). 3- Any significant difference was found out between the participants’ views on the managerial processes and their age (p>0.05). 4- Any significant difference was found out between the participants’ views on the managerial processes and their total experience in General Directorate of Youth and Sports (p>0.05).
