Introduction and Purpose: Infection control is an integral part of dental practice. Dentistry training plays an important role in the adoption of sufficient knowledge and attitude of dentists about infectious control measures. This study aims to compare the level of knowledge, attitude and application of infection control measures among dental students who are trained in different years. Method and Requirements: A total of 182 students participated in the study, consisting of 4th and 5th grade internship doctors. Students received a selectively selected survey consisting of 44 questions on infection control measures. For statistical analysis, the Ki-core test was used and the meaning level p<0.05 was accepted. Results: While there is no significant difference between the answers to 37 questions in the survey in terms of year differences (p>0.05), there is a statistically significant difference between the answers to 7 questions in terms of year differences (p<0.05). Of these statistically meaningful questions, 1 was information, 2 was attitude and 4 were questions in the application categories. These questions have been found about the risk of hepatitis B infection and the obligation to be vaccinated, the willingness to treat infectious diseases, attention to patients with infectious diseases, the use of masks, hand disinfection and instrument sterilization. RELATED AND RESULTATED: 4th and 5th participants. As the class stages students are at an acceptable level of compliance with the infection control measures while there are some differences in knowledge, attitude and practice levels between the two classes; it will be useful for students to establish appropriate and sustainable targets in the infection control policies.
