Abstract:

Bu çalışma, ortaokul Türkçe ders kitaplarının tema öğretimi açısından incelenmesine dayalıdır.. Ders kitapları, doküman analizi yöntemi kullanılarak incelenmiştir. Yapılan incelemeler sonucunda incelenen ders kitaplarındaki tema öğretimine ilişkin etkinliklerin Türkçe programında belirlenen zorunlu ve seçmeli temalara uygun birer dağılım gösterdiği, programda belirlenen zorunlu ve seçmeli temalara her sınıf seviyesinde yer verildiği, etkinliklerin dil becerileri anlamında homojen bir dağılım göstermediği, dinleme becerisinin etkinliklerde ihmâl edilen bir beceri olduğu, temaya ilişkin doğrudan metne dayalı etkinliklerin daha çok okuma/anlama temel becerisine yönelik olduğu, konuşma ve yazma becerisine ilişkin etkinliklerin metinden bağımsız cevaplandırılmaya imkân sunmasına rağmen etkinliklerin birbirinin aynısı izlenimi verdiği, etkinliklerdeki yönergelerin genel anlamda açık ve anlaşılır olduğu, işlevsellik noktasında etkinliklerin bulgular ve önerilerde belirtilen bakımlardan geliştirilebileceği, tema bağlamında hazırlanan etkinliklerin her birinin ana tema etrafında gelişebilecek konu önerilerine uygunluk halinde olduğu, etkinliklerin Türkçe programındaki temel dil becerileri bakımından becerilerin işaret ettikleri kazanımlarla uygunluk içinde olduğu sonuçlarına ulaşılmıştır.

Examining Turkish Textbooks In Terms Of Theme Teaching

Abstract:

This study is based on the examination of secondary school Turkish textbooks in terms of theme teaching. Textbooks were examined using the document analysis method. As a result of the examinations, it was concluded that the activities related to theme teaching in the examined textbooks showed a distribution in accordance with the compulsory and optional themes determined in the Turkish curriculum, the compulsory and optional themes determined in the program were included at every grade level, and the activities did not show a homogeneous distribution in terms of language skills, listening skill is a neglected skill in the activities, activities based on the text directly related to the theme are more focused on the basic skills of reading/comprehension, the activities give the impression of being the same although the activities related to speaking and writing skills allow answers to be answered independently of the text, the instructions in the activities are clear and understandable in general, the activities can be developed at the point of functionality, each of the activities prepared in the context of the theme is in accordance with the topic suggestions that may develop around the main theme, the skills are in harmony with the gains they point out in terms of the basic language skills in Turkish program.
