Abstract:

Although work health and safety studies have existed in advance, it has become a topic more discussed in recent times. Unfortunately, on the basis of this situation, the number of work accidents and occupational diseases is increasing every day. When considering the role he plays in the prevention of occupational accidents and occupational diseases, occupational safety experts come to us as the main interlocutor of the subject. The Law on Occupational Health and Safety, which entered into force in 2012, has brought the obligation to be served by a professional of Occupational Safety, taking into account the number of workers in their workplaces and the risk class. The powers, responsibilities and obligations of the specialists to carry out these activities are also stated in the Regulations 28512, 28545 and 28792 . However, these experts working in different sectors are facing some problems. Identification of these problems, presenting solutions with detailed discussion represents the main objective of this study. If there is a study that addresses this issue, our work is different from the other in terms of being addressed by a different method. In the framework of our work, we will first provide general information about the occupation safety expertise and the powers and responsibilities of this occupation and then discuss the findings of the field work that will be carried out in solutions proposals.
