Abstract:

Adalet Ağaoglu’s Göç Temizliği narrative which covers the 3-4 hours time period in which she spent time in her study room during her move from Ankara to Istanbul; opens up an important door to the author’s life and to the female world. The memoir-novel type narrative, while giving fragments from author’s life, also in- cludes important information on women and the look towards women in political, social and literary environment that is shown in these fragments. The form that the world of women takes in the masculine order and her existence that resists this form from time to time has been erased in daily life and has become ordinary. However, every woman has a call to return home at a certain time from the voic- es coming from her existence. The “home” mentioned here requires a spiritual return to home and enables women to purify and heal by remembering herself. In the study, the perception of returning home is framed with different topics and Ağaoglu’s home and returning home perception is reviewed through the autobio-graphic information, female world and emotional states that is revealed through this topic.
