Abstract:

The main objective of this study is to compare the academic activities of the forest engineering academics (learning members/learning members) according to the universities, according to the titles, according to the fields in which they work (such as records, reports, projects, reference numbers they receive). The staff in the field of science "Forest Industry Engineering" located in the core field of Ziraat, forest and water products, 165 academics located in the Faculty of Forest have been discussed in the framework of the study. The results of the study are SCI, SCI Exp. The average of the total publications made by academics in AHCI and SSCI type is 15.7; the average of the total publications made in magazines scanned by ULAKBIM is also 5.3. The Web Of Science publishing average of academics is estimated at 8.99, while Scopus data-based publishing average is estimated at 14.81. The WOS average in terms of academic reference average is 124.4 while the Scopus reference average is 215. The average total text declaration rates in international symposiums in which academics participate are 13.3; the average total text declaration rates in national conferences are 4.4. According to the project number of academics, the average number of TÜBİTAK projects is 1,72 while the average number of BAP projects is 4,06.
