Bu çalışmanın amacı ilkokul öğrencilerinin dijital yeterlik algılarını belirlemek amacıyla bir ölçek geliştirilmesi, geçerlik ve güvenirlik çalışmasının yapılmasıdır. Çalışmanın evrenini Aydın ili merkez ilçesinde devlet okullarında öğrenim görmekte olan beşinci sınıf öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada evreni temsil etmesi amacıyla tabakalı örneklem seçimi tercih edilmiş ve örneklem 355 kişiden oluşmuştur. Avrupa Birliği Komisyonu tarafından yaşam boyu öğrenmeye ilişkin sekiz anahtar yeterlikten dijital yeterlikler ve ilkokul programları incelenmiş; üç bilişim ve teknoloji öğretmeni, iki sınıf öğretmeni ve bir Türkçe öğretmeninin görüşleri de alınarak madde havuzu oluşturulmuştur. Devamında eğitim bilimleri alanında beş uzman ve bir Türkçe dil uzmanının görüşleri ile madde havuzuna son hali verilmiş ve 41 madde yer almıştır. Hazırlanan ölçeğin yapı geçerliğini tespit etmek amacıyla açımlayıcı faktör analizi, elde edilen yapıyı doğrulamak amacıyla da doğrulayıcı faktör analizi yapılmıştır. Analizler sonucunda beş alt boyutlu ve 18 maddelik bir yapı elde edilmiştir. Uyum indekslerinin de iyi düzeyde olduğu belirlenmiştir. Güvenirlik analizleri sonucunda ise Cronbach alfa güvenirlik katsayısının 0.835 olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bu araştırmada geliştirilen olan Dijital Yeterlik Algısı Ölçeği ilkokullarda öğrencilerin dijital yeterlik algılarını elde etmek amacıyla kullanılabilir.
The aim of this study is to develop a scale to determine primary school students’ perceptions of digital competence and to conduct a validity and reliability study. The population of the study consists of fifth grade students studying in public schools in the central district of Aydın province. In the study, stratified sampling was preferred to represent the population and the sample consisted of 355 people. Digital competencies and primary school programs among the eight key competencies related to lifelong learning by the European Union Commission were examined; an item pool was created by taking the opinions of three information and technology teachers, two classroom teachers and one Turkish teacher. Subsequently, the item pool was finalized with the opinions of five experts in the field of educational sciences and one Turkish language expert, and 41 items were included. Exploratory factor analysis was conducted to determine the construct validity of the prepared scale and confirmatory factor analysis was conducted to verify the structure obtained. As a result of the analyses, a structure with five sub-dimensions and 18 items was obtained. The fit indices were also found to be at a good level. As a result of the reliability analysis, it was determined that Cronbach’s alpha reliability coefficient was 0.835. The Digital Competence Perception Scale developed in this study can be used to obtain students’ perceptions of digital competence in primary schools.
