Tüm insanlığın ortak gayesi olan mutluluk disiplinlerarası bir kavram olup, dünyada birçok alanda yoğun bir biçimde araştırmalara konu edilmektedir. Mutluluğun ölçülmesine ilişkin çeşitli ölçekler mevcut olup, belli periyodlarda dünya mutluluk raporları yayımlanmaktadır. Türkiye’de de mutluluk ve mutluluk ekonomisi üzerine yapılan kuramsal ve ampirik çalışmalar her geçen gün artış göstermektedir. Özellikle ampirik mutluluk çalışmaları, memnuniyet ve mutluluğa dair veri toplanmasını sağlayan Yaşam Memnuniyeti Araştırması ile birlikte artış göstermektedir. Hiç şüphe yok ki bu konu üzerine en kapsamlı çalışmayı Türkiye İstatistik Kurumu (TÜİK) Yaşam Memnuniyeti Araştırması ile gerçekleştirmektedir. Tam da bu noktada çalışmanın amacı, Türkiye İstatistik Kurumu tarafından 2003 yılından bu yana gerçekleştirilen Yaşam Memnuniyeti Araştırmasının mutluluğa dair 2019 yılı sonuçlarının önceki yıllarla karşılaştırmak suretiyle değerlendirilmesidir. Bu bağlamda çalışmada, yıllar itibariyle mutluluk düzeyi, cinsiyet-yaş grubu ve medeni duruma göre mutluluk düzeyi, eğitim durumuna göre mutluluk düzeyi, mutluluğun kaynağı ve son olarak cinsiyete göre umut düzeyi verileri çalışmaya konu edilmiştir.
Happiness, the common objective of all humanity, is an interdisciplinary concept and is focused on research in many areas of the world. There are various scales for the measurement of happiness, and world happiness reports are published in certain periods. In Turkey, the theoretical and empirical studies on the economy of happiness and happiness are increasing every day. In particular, empirical happiness studies are increasing along with Life Satisfaction Research, which allows the collection of data about satisfaction and happiness. There is no doubt that the most comprehensive study on this subject is carried out by the Turkish Statistical Bureau (TÜIK) Life Satisfaction Research. It is precisely at this point that the aim of the study is to be evaluated by comparing the results of the 2019 Life Satisfaction Research conducted by the Turkish Statistical Bureau since 2003 with the previous years. In this context, the study has been focused on the study of the levels of happiness, gender-age group and level of happiness according to the civilized state, level of happiness according to the educational state, source of happiness and finally the level of hope according to the gender.

The aim of this study is comparing and considering the evaluate of Turkish Statistical Institute Life Satisfaction Survey results in 2019 by the previous years’ results. This paper investigates the change on the level of happiness according by the years, gender, age, marital status, educational level, source of happiness and level of hope according to gender.
