Bu çalışmada hemşire ve ebelerin hasta mahremiyetine ilişkin görüşlerinin değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmış ve tanımlayıcı tipte yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini Ankara'da bir Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesinde görev yapan 385 hemşire ve ebeler oluşturmuştur. Verilerin toplanmasında Kişisel Bilgi Formu ve Hasta Mahremiyet Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Hemşire ve ebelerin mahremiyet algısı orta düzeyde bulunmuştur. Mahremiyet algısı yaşa göre değerlendirildiğinde 41 yaş ve üstü olanların mahremiyet algılarıfazla iken 31-35 yaş arası olanlardaazdır. Hemşire ve ebelerin eğitim düzeyleri artıkça mahremiyetin algıları artmaktadır (p<0.05). Mahremiyet algısında cinsiyet önemli bir değişken olmayıp kadın ve erkek çalışanların mahremiyet algısı benzerdir (p>0.05). Mahremiyet algısı görev süresine göre değerlendirildiğinde görev süresi 21 yıl ve üstü olanların mahremiyet algısıfazla, hastanede yatma deneyimine göre ise; hastanede yatma deneyimi olmayanlarda mahremiyet algısı daha yüksek bulunmuştur (p<0.05). Hasta hakları bildirisinin tam metnini ve “Hasta Haklarının Korunması ve Mahremiyete Saygı Gösterilmesi” ile ilgili bölümü okumuş olanların mahremiyet algısı daha yüksektir (p<0.05). Hasta hakları ve/veya hasta mahremiyetine ilişkin herhangi bir kurs, seminer ya da toplantıya katılanların mahremiyet algısı daha yüksek bulunmuştur (p<0.05). Hemşire ve ebelerin mezuniyet öncesi ve sonrası eğitim programları ile hasta hakları ve mahremiyete ilişkin bilgilerinin artırılması ve hemşire ve ebelerin mahremiyet kavramına yönelik algıları, görüşleri ve uygulamalarının değerlendirilebileceği araştırmaların yapılması önerilmiştir.
This study is aimed at assessing the opinions of nurses and nurses on the privacy of the patient and was done in a identifiable type. The sample of the study was made by 385 nurses and nurses working in an Education and Research Hospital in Ankara. In the collection of data, the Personal Information Form and the Patient Privacy Scale were used. Nurses and nurse’s privacy perception was at the middle level. The perception of privacy is estimated by age and the perception of privacy of those aged 41 and above is estimated by 31-35 years of age. The level of education of nurses and nurses increases the perception of privacy (p<0.05). In the perception of privacy, gender is not an important variable and the perception of privacy of women and men workers is similar (p>0.05). The privacy perception is assessed by the duration of the office, with the privacy perception of those who are 21 years and older, and by the experience of sleeping in the hospital, the privacy perception of those who do not have experience sleeping in the hospital is higher (p<0.05). Those who have read the full text of the Patient Rights Declaration and the section "Protection of Patient Rights and Respect for Privacy" are more confidential (p<0.05). Patient rights and/or the privacy of any course, seminar or meeting participants were found to have a higher perception of privacy (p<0.05). It is recommended that nurses and nurses increase their knowledge of pre- and postgraduate education programs and the rights and privacy of patients and that research can be carried out in which the perceptions, opinions and practices of nurses and nurses concerning the concept of privacy can be evaluated.
