Abstract:

The aim of this study is to study the relationship between the lifelong learning trends of social information teachers candidates and self-managed learning skills. Research is an imaginary study in the relational scan model. The research work group constitutes 196 teachers candidates studying in the Department of Social Information Education of the Kastamonu University in the 2019-2020 educational year with the "Self-Managed Learning Skills" as a data collection tool. For the analysis of the data, the Pearson Moment's Collapse Correlation Score has been calculated and a multi-linear regression analysis has been applied. When the research results were evaluated, social information found a meaningful relationship in the positive direction of the middle level between the lifelong learning trends of the teacher candidates and the self-managed learning skills. It can be said that the self-managed learning skills of teachers candidates are an important factor in boosting their lifelong learning trends. According to the research findings, it can be said that the total variation of the lifelong learning tendency is 44% explained by the self-managed learning skills of the renowned teacher candidates.
