Bu makalede Mahtumkulu’nun “Sonudağı”1 adlı şiiri esas alınarak, farklı doğal olayların tanımı, edebî sanatında tabiatın yeri ve görünümü, tüm içeriğini yansıtan rolleri ve şiirin ruhî yönü incelenmektedir. Dağın, şairin şiir dünyasındaki yeri, ruh dünyasındaki tesirleri değerlendirilerek bugün Türkmen halkı için neler ifade ettiği vurgulanmıştır.
The article concerns the discription of different natural phenomena, the sign of nature and its images in literature, their role in revealing the whole content and spiritual aspect of the poem based on the poetry of Mahdumkulu named “Sonudagı”. Evaluating the sign of the mountain according to the poet and the impression in the spiritual world, today it is emphisized what it means fort he turkmen.
