Türk edebiyatının mihenk taşlarından biri olan divanların tespit ve neşrinde her ne kadar büyük bir mesafe kat edilmiş olsa da kaynaklarda bahsi geçmeyen yahut hakkında çok az bilgiye rastlanan şair ve eserleri ile karşılaşmak mümkündür. Bunlardan biri de Hayrabolulu Mahvî’nin Dîvânçe’sidir. Tarafımızca Yapı Kredi Araştırma Kütüphanesi Nadir ve Yazma Eserler Bölümü’nde Y 0527 numarada kayıtlı Mahvî’ye ait bir Dîvânçe tespit edilmiştir. Hayatı hakkındaki bilgiler sınırlı olan ve şiirlerinde Mahvî mahlasını kullanan şair, kaynaklara göre XVIII. yüzyılda yaşamış Divan şairlerimizdendir. Şairin hayatına dair bilgiye rastladığımız kaynaklar, onun Hayrabolulu olduğu ve 1150’de (1737/38) tarihinde öldüğü hususunda görüş birliği içerisindedir. Mahvî’nin, Fatîn’e göre mürettep bir Dîvân’ı, Şemsettin Sami’ye göre ise bir Dîvânçe’si bulunmaktadır. Çalışmamızda Mahvî’nin hayatı ve 103 gazel ile 2 tarihten oluşan Dîvânçe’si hakkında bilgi verilecek ve Dîvânçe’de yer alan şiirlerin ilk ve son beyitleri günümüz harflerine aktarılacaktır. Böylelikle Mahvî ve Dîvânçe’si bilim dünyasına tanıtılacak ve klasik Türk şiiri araştırmacılarının istifadesine sunulacaktır.
Although a large distance has been made in the detection and enjoyment of the divans, which are one of the stones of Turkish literature, it is possible to meet the poets and works that are not mentioned in the sources or found very little information about them.
