Dikkat eksikliği ve hiperaktivite bozukluğu (DEHB); çocuk, ergen ve erişkinlerde belirgin sorunlara neden olmaktadır. DEHB tedavisinde kullanılan non farmakolojik tedavi yöntemleri; psikoeğitim, ebeveyn eğitim programları, sosyal beceri eğitimi, bilişsel davranışçı terapi ve bilinçli farkındalık eğitimidir. Farmakolojik tedavi yöntemleri ise sitimulanlar, atomoksetin, alfa-2 agonistler ve trisiklik antidepresanlardır. Bu derlemede, DEHB’de uygulanan ve etkili olduğu gösterilen tedavi yöntemleri, Ulusal Sağlık ve Klinik Mükemmellik Enstitüsü (NICE), Kanada Dikkat Eksikliği Hiperaktivite Bozukluğu Birliği (CADDRA) ve Amerikan Çocuk ve Ergen Psikiyatrisi Birliği (AACAP) tarafından son yıllarda yayınlanmış olan DEHB kılavuzları ve güncel literatür bilgileri ışığında gözden geçirilmiştir.
Attention deficiency and hyperactivity disorder (DEHB) causes severe problems in children, adolescents and adults. Non-pharmacological therapy methods used in the treatment of ADHD are psychoeducation, parent education programs, social skills education, cognitive behavioral therapy and conscious awareness education. The pharmacological methods of treatment are citimulanes, atomoxetins, alpha-2 agonists and tricyclic antidepressants. In this collection, the treatments applied and shown to be effective in ADHD have been reviewed in light of the ADHD guidelines and current literary information published in recent years by the National Institute of Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE), the Canadian Association for Attention Deficiency Hyperactivity Disorder (CADDRA) and the American Association for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP).
