Today, irrigation system designs in most landscape areas are usually made by non-experts. Accordingly, the use of more or less irrigation water in irrigation projects, non-uniform irrigation, use of wrong equipment, etc. such problems are seen. In this study, it is aimed to compare the sprinkler irrigation heads used in landscape areas in terms of design and cost. In the study, an irrigation system was designed according to different sprinkler irrigation heads (rotor, rotator and spray / Hunter) and operating units (minimum, optimum and maximum) in a selected area. In addition, the irrigation system design in the field was carried out independently by four different experts and the projects were compared in terms of costs. As a result of the study, it has been determined that projects with optimum operating units are the most ideal and low cost in irrigation systems designed with different sprinkler irrigation heads. While the most economical irrigation system projecting according to the nozzle types used in the field is provided with rotor and rotator heads, it has been seen that the most costly systems are projects designed with spray heads. When the projects made by the four experts were compared, it was seen that there were differences in terms of costs depending on the equipment and designs used. As a result, while designing irrigation systems in landscape areas, it is recommended to choose the most ideal and economical projects suitable for the area, taking into account factors such as soil characteristics, water source, climate factors, and plant characteristics.
