Abstract:

In Turkey, the first stage health services for individuals are carried out by the family health centers, the first stage health services for society are carried out by the public health centers. Healthy life centers are a new practice implemented in order to support first-stage health services operated by both family and community health centers and to facilitate the transportation to these services. In this context, the purpose of this study is to explain the processes of service presentation in healthy life centers, to address the problems that occur in these processes and to propose solutions. Research is a quality research. The data was collected through a semi-configured interview form created by the researchers. The research has included four healthy life centers located in a province located in Mersin. In two centers with specialized doctors, a dietist in one center and a psychologist in one center were provided. The data collected was first written and then reported by the visual analysis method. As a result, although it is still a new application, healthcare centers, which actively offer services in many areas within the first stage health services, offer services to a wide audience, in addition to the diagnosis and treatment processes in the first stage, health education, consultancy services take important roles in protective health services. There may be a number of problems in the service processes. A number of suggestions were presented on the issues that have been presented in the study.
