Vascular ring is a congenital aortic anomaly causes various findings depending on the compression of trachea and esophagus. A 8 year-old girl with a diagnosis of bronchial asthma, consulted to our pediatric cardiology clinic due to recurrent pulmonary infections and dysphagia. In our patient, vascular ring anomaly with a predominance of right aortic arch was diagnosed and referred for surgical correction. This report is presented in order to emphasize the importance of detailed echocardiographic examination in patient with asthma, recurrent pulmonary infections, and especially in children with swallowing disorders.
