Abstract:

Abstract This article examines the changes that are being undertaken for the Cuban economic model and its probable consequences for the social integration of Cuban society. The analysis is based on the population challenges facing Cuba, emphasizing the state and dynamics of labor resources, abundant and valuable, with an excellent dependency ratio, but threatened by the aging process, low fertility and migration. . The challenges in terms of labor social relations continue to be examined, since economic multispatiality, the result of the readjustment of the 90's, has led our Labor Social Relations Systems and the cultures that result from them to a level of clear infunctionality with respect to to the socialist ideal of nation. Finally, the article proposes a series of measures of macro, meso and microsocial scope that would tend, on socialist ideological bases, to seek harmonized planes of confluence to the dynamics of society and the population, taking work as the axis of strategic transformation.
