Bireyler arasında oluşturulan gündemde medyanın ciddi anlamda etkisi vardır. Bireyler meydana gelen olayları, medya aracılığıyla öğrendikten sonra kendi gündemlerine taşımakta ve olaylar üzerine birtakım değerlendirmelerde bulunmaktadır. Bu noktada medyanın da kitlelerin ilgisini duyabilecek konulara yer vermesi kaçınılmaz gözükmektedir. Medyanın gündemine taşıdığı en temel olaylar arasında şiddet konuları başı çekmekte denilebilmektedir. Özellikle kadına yönelik şiddetin azalmaksızın her gün gerçekleşiyor olması, medyanın bu konuyu haberlerine taşımasına neden olmaktadır. Sık bir şekilde gerçekleşen kadına yönelik şiddet olaylarının bir kısmının kapsamı, uygulanış tarzı, uygulayan kişinin yakınlık derecesi gibi kriterlere sahip olması onların medyanın gündemine daha kapsamlı ve sık bir şekilde yer bulmasını sağlamaktadır. Bu çerçevede çalışmada analiz edilebilecek en son örnek 18 Ağustos 2019 tarihinde gerçekleşmiş olan Emine Bulut cinayetidir. Kırıkkale’de eski eşi Fedai Baran tarafından bir kafede şiddete uğrayan ve boğazı kesilerek öldürülen Emine Bulut’un “Ölmek istemiyorum!” ve kızının “Anne ne olur ölme!” şeklindeki feryatları uzun süre sadece medyanın değil halkın da gündemini önemli derecede kaplamıştır. Söz konusu bu çalışmanın amacı kadına şiddetin son örnekleri arasında yer alan Emine Bulut cinayeti örneği üzerinden kadına yönelik şiddetin gazete sayfalarına nasıl yansıdığını incelemektir. Bu bağlamda ulusal basından 25 gazete, nitel içerik çözümlemesi yöntemiyle analiz edilmiştir. Çalışmanın bulguları kadına yönelik şiddetin hem görsel, hem işitsel hem de yazılı olarak haber içeriklerine taşınırken bireyleri şiddete yöneltmeyecek şekilde ifadelerle verilmesinin gerekliliğini ortaya koymuştur.
In the day between individuals, the media has a serious influence. Individuals are moving into their own agenda after learning about the events that occur through the media and are in a series of assessments about the events. At this point, it seems unavoidable that the media will also place topics that may be interested in the crowds. Among the main events on the agenda of the media, violence can be addressed. The fact that violence against women, especially, is happening every day without a reduction, causes the media to bring this topic to their news. The scope of some of the incidents of violence against women that occur frequently, the style of application, the degree of proximity of the person who practices have criteria ensures that they are more comprehensive and frequently on the agenda of the media. This framework can be analyzed in the studyExxon example is the murder of Emine Cloud, which occurred on August 18, 2019. Emine Bulut's "I don't want to die" was raped by his ex-wife Fedai Baran in a cafe and killed by cutting his throat. “Mother, don’t die!” For a long time, it has not only covered the media, but also the public’s agenda. The aim of this study is to explore how violence against women is reflected on the newspapers through the Emine Cloud murder example, which is among the latest examples of violence against women. In this context, 25 newspapers from the national press were analyzed using the quality content analysis method. The findings of the study revealed the need for violence against women to be transmitted in both visual, hearing and written news content; the need to be given with expressions in such a way that individuals are not directed to violence.
