Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to study the relationship between professional self-respect and hopeful levels of special education teachers based on some demographic characteristics.  The teachers who work in the field of special education have been studied whether their professional self-respect and hope levels have significant differences in terms of gender, civil status, age. Relational scanning model is used as a research model. The research group consists of 228 teachers working in the field of private education in the official schools and private training and rehabilitation centers. In data collection, personal information forms, professional self-respect and hope level scales were used. The study found significant differences in gender variation of professional self-respect from a demographic point of view to the benefit of women. There is no significant difference in professional self-respect according to the civic state and age. There is no significant demographic difference.
