Özet:

When it comes to improving the quality of learning, this study aims to examine the function of communication technology, as well as social media, as utilized by lecturers and students alike, to achieve this goal. 250 students and 65 teachers from Pare-Pare religious colleges in Indonesia participated in the poll. Proportional random sampling was used in the study. Google forms were used to distribute surveys to students and faculty using the Whatsapp group application. Smart PLS 3.0 is used for data analysis. We conclude that both in-class and online learning can be improved by the use of communication technologies, such as webcams and teleconferencing. The usage of social media is superior to the use of communication technologies when it comes to boosting the quality of learning. Also, this research indicated that the simultaneous effect was superior to the partial effect. As a result, it is possible to improve the quality of learning by increasing the use of communication technology and social media in tandem rather than just one or the other.
