Yöneticilerin Mizah Tarzının Çalışanların İş Yaşam Kaliteleri Üzerine Etkisinde Psikolojik Sermayenin Aracı Rolü

Abstract:

Bu çalışmada banka yöneticilerinin kullandıkları mizah tarzlarının çalışanların psikolojik sermayeleri ve iş yaşam kaliteleri üzerindeki etkisi araştırılmaktadır. Bununla birlikte psikolojik sermayenin yöneticilerin mizah tarzı ile çalışanların iş yaşam kalitesi arasındaki ilişkide aracı role sahip olup olmadığı sorgulanmaktadır. Araştırma kapsamında anket yöntemi ile elde edilen veriler SPSS paket programı ve AMOS programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmanın örneklemini, Orta Karadeniz illerini kapsayan ve TÜİK Bölgesel Göstergelerinde TR83 koduyla yer alan Samsun, Tokat, Çorum, Amasya illerindeki banka çalışanları oluşturmuştur.  Araştırma bulguları uyarınca, yöneticilerin katılımcı mizah tarzı ile kendini geliştirici mizah tarzının çalışanların psikolojik sermayesini pozitif yönde, saldırgan mizah tarzı ile kendini yıkıcı mizah tarzının ise negatif yönde etkilediği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Yöneticilerin katılımcı, kendini geliştirici ve kendini yıkıcı mizah tarzlarının çalışanların iş yaşam kalitelerini pozitif yönde, saldırgan mizah tarzının ise negatif yönde etkilediği belirlenmiştir. Çalışanların psikolojik sermayesinin iş yaşam kalitesini pozitif yönde etkilediği ayrıca yöneticinin mizah tarzları ile çalışanların iş yaşam kalitesi arasındaki ilişkiye kısmen aracılık ettiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

In this study, the effect of humor styles of bank managers on the employees' psychological capital and quality of life is investigated. However, it is questioned whether psychological capital has a mediating role in the relationship between managers' humor style and the employees' quality of work life. Within the scope of the research, the data obtained by the survey method were analyzed with SPSS and AMOS software. The sample of the study consists of bank employees in San Francisco, San Francisco, San Francisco and San Francisco provinces, which are indicated with TR83 code in TURKSTAT Regional Indicators. According to the findings of the research, it was concluded that managers' participatory humor style and self-enhancing humor style positively affected employees' psychological capital and aggressive humor style and self-destructive humor style negatively affected employees' psychological capital. It was determined that the participatory, self-improving and self-destructive humor styles of the managers positively affected the quality of work life and aggressive humor style negatively affected the quality of work life. It was concluded that the psychological capital of the employees positively affected the quality of work life and also partially mediated the relationship between the manager's humor styles and the employees' quality of work life of the employees.
