Alternatif okullar geleneksel okullardan farklı olarak deneyim sunan her türlü okulları ifade etmekte ve getirdikleri alternatif eğitim modelleri ile öğrencilerin bireysel gereksinimleri ve ilgi odaklarına hitap ederek tüm öğrencilerin başarısı ve gelişimini hedeflemektedir. Bu bağlamda esnek ve yenilikçi programlar sunan alternatif okullar, klasik okulların göz ardı ettiği hususlara çözüm getirmeye çalışmaktadır. Alternatif okulların öğrencilerin bireysel farklılıklarına verdiği önemin, verilen eğitimin kalitesini yükseltmektedir. Eğitime katkısı yüksek olan bu okulların geçmişten günümüze durumunu ortaya koymayı amaçlayan bu çalışma, alayazın incelenerek bir derleme yapılması amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda alternatif okullara ilişkin kavramsal tanım, tarihsel gelişim, alternatif okulların temelleri ve özellikleri başlıkları yer almaktadır.
Alternative schools express all kinds of schools that offer experience, unlike traditional schools, and target the success and development of all students by addressing the individual needs and interests of students with the alternative educational models they bring. In this context, alternative schools offering flexible and innovative programs are trying to bring solutions to the issues that classical schools ignore. The importance that alternative schools give to the individual differences of students improves the quality of the given education. This study, which aims to reveal the situation of these schools that have a high contribution to education from the past to the present day, is intended to be a collection by studying the joke. In line with this objective, the conceptual definition of alternative schools, historical development, the foundations and characteristics of alternative schools include the titles.
