So many results that aren't mine?
References in many bibliographies are sometimes referred to as "Surname, I", so the citations of academics whose Surname and initials are the same may occasionally interfere. This problem is often the case with citation indexes all over the world.

Abstract:

2021
Author:
Abstract:

This illustrative research is a bibliometric analysis of the studies published between 1957 and 2020 on the personality characteristics of the superior. All Web of Science (WoS) indices were scanned on June 20, 2020 from 10:00 to 15:00 (GMT +3) hours without any year and language limit. This scan resulted in a total of 321 research that meets the inclusion criteria. The most frequently published language of the studies is English (n = 272), the country in which the most frequently published is the United States (n = 131). The total number of authors in the document is 615, and the total number of references is 3,921 (an annual average number of references = 63). The most frequently published year between 1957 and 2020 is 2017 (n = 29%). The most common WoS category Education Psychology (f = 98, 30.5%) and the most common document type Article (f = 262, 81.6%) were found as the most common magazine Gifted Child Quarterly (1971-2017, f = 37.12). Of a total of 345 different institutions, Johns Hopkins University is the most frequently published university (n = 11, 3.4%). From the findings obtained, with the quantitative increase in the last 10 years, extension has been seen in the subject network and interdisciplinary studies. As a result of the bibliometric maping of the research, it can be said that superior intelligence-personality studies have yet completed the Baconcu (basic research and routine studies) period and have passed to the Newtoncu (depth study and expansion) period.

2021
Author:
Abstract:

This descriptive study aims to present a bibliometric analysis of research published between 1957 and 2020 on the personality traits of gifted individuals. An electronic search was conducted with Web of Science indexes on June 20, 2020, between 10:00 and 15:00 (GMT +3) without year and language restrictions. This electronic search yielded 321 studies meeting the inclusion criteria. The most frequent language of publication was English (n = 272), and the most frequent country of publication was the USA (n = 131). The number of authors of the 321 documents was 615, and the number of citations was 3,921 (mean annual citation number = 63). 2017 had the highest frequency of publication (n = 29, 9%). The most common Web of Science category was Educational Psychology (f = 98, 30.5%), the most common document type was research article (f = 262, 81.6%), and the most frequently encountered journal Gifted Child Quarterly (between 1971-2017, f = 37,12%). Johns Hopkins University was the most frequent source of the research (n = 11, 3.4%). Findings show that there has been an expansion in the subject network and interdisciplinary studies with a quantitative increase in the last 10 years. As a result of the bibliometric mapping of the studies, it can be said that the studies have just completed the Baconian (basic research and routine studies) period and have passed to the Newtonian (in-depth study and expansion) period.
