Abstract:

The aim of the study is to identify the activities that classmates carry out for measurement evaluation in the emergency distance learning process and to identify their needs for a Web 2.0 tool to be developed for this purpose. In the study, the field scan method was used. The study group consists of 245 class teachers. In the framework of the study, the data was collected with the "Class Teachers' Online Measurement Assessment Instruments Thinking Identification Survey". Quantitative data obtained within the framework of the study were presented in frequencies and percentages, while qualitative data was subject to content analysis. As a result of the content analysis, the codes are categorized and the themes are created. Class teachers have seen that they use the EBA exam, Web 2.0 tools for measurement evaluation activities during the emergency distance learning period, prefer WhatsApp for advertising purposes. It has also been determined that classmates are faced with technical shortcomings such as internet connection, computer failure or student-related shortcomings such as the failure to provide student participation. For example, the student’s need to meet the measurement is expected to be completed. Web 2 is designed for measurement purposes. The class teachers in the 0 vehicle wanted to be included in all kinds of questions, and in this vehicle the Turkish language support, the ability to see the students' results instantly, access to the question pool and the ability to create a personal question pool were among the most desired features. Online training programs can be offered to class teachers in the process of distance learning for the training support they need on the basis of distance measurement assessment. It may also be recommended to develop a measurement and evaluation platform where an effective learning process can be managed and student development can be monitored as an emergency need.
