This study was conducted between 2017-2018 years in order to determine the remaining levels of the neonikotinoid groups (Acetamiprid, Imidacloprid, Thiametoxam, Clothianidin and Thiacloprid) in tomato samples supplied to consumers in the province of Tokat. The remainder analysis of the samples received was carried out in the LC-MS/MS (Fluid Chromatography/Tandem Mass Spectrometer) device located in the Food Detection and Rest Analysis Unit of the University of Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa Scientific and Technological Research Applied and Research Center. A total of 30 samples of tomatoes found at least one pesticide remains in 16 samples. The remaining samples represent 53.33% of the total sample. In one sample, the remains were identified above the Turkish Food Code (TGK) and the European Union (EU) Maximum Rest Limit (MRLs)
This study was carried out to determine the residual levels of neonicotinoid insecticides (Acetamiprid, İmidacloprid, Thiametoxam, Clothianidin ve Thiacloprid) in tomato samples taken from shopping centers in Tokat between 2017-2018. Residue analysis of the samples were carried out by LC- MS/MS (Liquid Chromatography / Tandem Mass Spectrometer) in the Food Detection and Residue Analysis Unit of Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University Scientific and Technological Researches Application and Research Center. As a result of the studies carried out with a total of 30 tomato samples, at least one pesticide residue was found in each of the 16 samples.Samples with residues detected represent 53.33% of the total sample. 1 sample was found to have residues above the Turkish Food Codex (TGK) and European Union (EU) Maximum Residue Limits (MRLs).
