Vitamin B12 defi ciency with non-specifi c signs is uncommon in childhood. It often develops as a result of inadequate intake. Mothers with low socioeconomic status may develop vitamin B12 defi ciency. It should be kept in mind that this defi ciency has higher incidence rates in infants at birth and during feeding with only breast milk. Lack of vitamin B12 in breast milk may cause symptoms in the fi rst 2 years of age. Treatment of vitamin B12 defi ciency is important as it ensures a good clinical response and prevention of permanent neurological damage. We present a case diagnosed with vitamin B12 defi ciency
