Hastaların HAÖ’den aldıkları puanlara göre alt boyut puan ortalamaları; hastalık tipi alt boyutu 4.12±2.58, hastalık hakkındaki görüşleri süre (akut/kronik) alt boyut 23.17±5.64, sonuçlar alt boyutu 15.01±3.83, kişisel kontrol alt boyutu 22.25±4.03, tedavi kontrol alt boyutu 19.33±3.73, hastalığı anlayabilme alt boyutu 19.05±3.85, süre döngüsel alt boyutu 12.99±2.94, duygusal temsiller alt boyutu 19.96±5.90 olarak bulunmuştur.
Purpose: This study was conducted with the aim of determining the perceptions of the disease of individuals with chronic cardiovascular disease. Method: This study, which is characteristic, was conducted with individuals with chronic cardiovascular disease (coronary artery disease, heart failure, hypertension, arithmics, cover diseases) followed in a clinic and clinic of cardiology and internal diseases in a University Hospital between December 2012 and April 2013. The data is collected with the "Patient Information Form" and the "Status of Disease Perception" (SAID). A total of 110 patients participated in the study. The average age of patients is 54.97 ± 16.67 years and 48.2 percent are men and 51.8 percent are women. 39.1% of patients have hypertension and 30.9% have a period of 0 to 3 years of disease. The patient’s low-dimensional score average is 4.12±2.58, the sights about the disease time (acute/chronic) low-dimensional 23.17±5.64, the results low-dimensional 15.01±3.83, the personal control low-dimensional 22.25±4.03, the treatment control low-dimensional 19.33±3.73, the low-dimensional understanding of the disease 19.05±3.85, the cyclical low-dimensional 12.99±2.94, the emotional representations low-dimensional 19.96±5.90. According to these findings, patients have a positive perception and concern about the disease that they do not associate some of the general symptoms of the disease they have experienced in their lives after diagnosed heart disease with chronic heart disease, they perceive their diseases as a chronic disease, they believe their diseases have very serious consequences, they can understand their diseases, they can control their diseases, and they can control their diseases with treatment. Patients have seen their risk factors in the first place as the cause of the disease, and psychological causes in the second place. The result: It is believed that the patient's perceptions of the disease should be determined and these results should be taken into account in the treatment process to ensure the patient's participation, which is an extremely important subject in the management of chronic diseases.
