LİSE TARİH DERS KİTAPLARINDA İSLAMİYET ÖNCESİ ARAPLAR HAKKINDAKİ KONU ANLATIMI (1923-1960)

Hz. Muhammed, Allah tarafından içinde yaşadığı toplum olan Araplara son Peygamber olarak gönderilmiştir. Arapların, İslamiyet’ten önceki siyasi, idari ve kültürel özelliklerini bilmeden, İslamiyet’in orada yayılma sürecini ve karşılaşılan problemlerin ne olduğunu anlamak zor olacaktır. Bu yüzden Hz. Muhammed dönemini daha iyi anlamak ve anlatmak için İslam öncesi Arapların düşünce yapısı ve yaşayışlarına dair bir takım konular ortaya konulmasında fayda mülahaza edilmektedir. Çünkü İslamiyet’in ortaya çıktığı dönemi bilmek ve o dönemin şartlarını göz önüne alarak yorumlamak öncelikle Kuranı Kerim’in sonra ise Peygamberin sünnetlerinin daha iyi anlaşılmasına yardımcı olacaktır. Bu makalede amaç, 1923-1960 arası dönemde yazılan ve Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı Talim-Terbiye Kurulu kararıyla liselerde okutulmasına karar verilen, lise tarih ders kitaplarında İslamiyet Öncesi Arap tarihi konularının nasıl anlatıldığını ortaya koyabilmektir. Araştırmanın asıl veri kaynağını 1923-1960 arasında yazılmış lise tarih ders kitapları oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın verileri ise lise tarih ders kitaplarının İslam tarihi konu anlatımına yönelik kısımlarından tarama yapılarak elde edilmiştir. Bu ders kitaplarında ilgili konular tespit, tahlil ve tenkit edilerek, konu hakkında çıkarımlar yapılmıştır. Arap yarımadasında kurulan devletler, Arapların yaşayışları, dini inançları ve Arap dili hakkında bilgiler verilmiştir.

Without knowing the political, administrative and cultural characteristics of the Arabs before Islam, it will be difficult to understand the process of spread of Islam there and what the problems faced. That is why Hz. To better understand and describe the time of Muhammad, it is useful to discuss a series of topics about the thought structure and life of the pre-Islam Arabs. For knowing the period in which Islam appeared and interpreting the conditions of that period will help to better understand the Sunnah of the Prophet, first of all, the Qur’an after the Qur’an. The purpose of this article is to reveal how the pre-Islamic Arabic history subjects are described in the high school history curricula, which was written in the period between 1923-1960 and decided to be taught in high schools by the National Education Ministry's Decision of the Education and Education Council. The main source of data of the research is high school history curriculum books written between 1923-1960. The data of the research was obtained by scanning from the parts of the history of the high school lessons of the Islamic history subject. In these books, the subjects are identified, evaluated and evaluated, and the conclusions are made on the subject. The state founded in the Arab Peninsula, the lives of the Arabs, the religious beliefs and the Arab language were provided.

Without recognizing the political, administrative and cultural characteristics of the Arabian Peninsula to the Arabs before Islam, it is impossible to understand the spread of Islam and what the problems were encountered there. So, in order to better understand and explain the period of Muhammad, it is useful to put forward a number of issues related to the thought structure and life of pre-Islamic Arabs. Because knowing the period in which Islam emerged and interpreting it by considering the conditions of that period will help to better understand the Sunnah of the Quran and then the Prophet. The aim of this article is to reveal how pre-Islamic Arab history subjects were explained in high school history textbooks, which were written in the period between1923-1960 and decided to be taught in high schools by the decision of the Board of Education. The main data source of the study is the high school history textbooks written between1923-1960. The data of the research was obtained by scanning the parts of the high school history textbooks on the subject of Islamic history. In these textbooks, the relevant subjects have been determined, analysed and criticized, and inferences have been made about the subject. It has given information about the states established in the Arabian Peninsula, the lives of Arabs, their religious beliefs and the Arabic language.
