Abstract:

The relationship between government systems and political science is one of the important research topics in terms of constitutional law. The search for political stability, the impact of global events and democratization efforts lead to the academic and institutional discussion of government systems. The relationship between government systems and political parties does not produce similar results in every country. For this reason, the political practices and history of the countries are taken into consideration. The relationship between the structure of the political system and government systems is also evaluated in the context of the democratic method. The link between government structure and democracy effectiveness brings about regime debates in countries with political instability. These discussions are based on the idea that the effectiveness of political parties in the axis of democracy depends on the government system. Democratic state systems are shaped according to the relationship between the legislative, executive and judicial powers. In parliamentary systems, efficieny over the legislature and the executive consists of the sharing of powers rather than a separation as envisaged in the theory of separation of powers. In presidential systems, according to the number of political parties, political and social culture, the executive organ comes to the fore in the political field. In terms of political party effectiveness, it is possible to say that party discipline varies according to the election system and government structure. Especially in terms of the relationship between political stability and government systems, it is necessary to examine the political party structure according to government systems.
