Özet:

Abstract Rural tourism is one of the most important components of rural development. The place of the issue on the agenda is increasing. The subject is also discussed at the academic level. There are studies which discuss the subcejt in terms of national or international policies, the point of view of a certain part of rural tourism, the rural tourism potential of certain regions etc. Rural tourism should be considered as an alternative business area for entrepreneurs, as well as being part of the rural development efforts that require public investment and support. The aim of this study is to reveal the perspectives of agriculture faculty students as a field of entrepreneurship for rural tourism alternative.  In this way, the fact of rural tourism is discussed from a different perspective. As a result of the study, it was tried to determine about the extent to which rural tourism can be considered as an entrepreneurial alternative for the agricultural engineer candidate students and how can create agriculture undergraduate education a vision about rural tourism for students.  In this study, Focus Group Interviews were conducted with chosen students of Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University Faculty of Agriculture and the answers by the way these interviews were tried to be interpreted through content analysis.
