Abstract:

The pandemic, which has affected the world, has become the main problem of humanity since the end of 2019. This pandemic process, known as the Covid-19 virus and causing dramatic changes in human lives, has made some positive and some negative changes in some areas of human life such as consumption habits, media watching habits, health protection and disease prevention behaviors, and diet. Recently, the course and effect of the disease has rapidly increased, bringing along the vaccine discussions, which have become the most important agenda of the world. This study aims to evaluate the importance of the vaccine in the world and Turkey and the "negative" attitudes towards vaccination that has spread among people especially with the development of the technology. Especially in these days in which the pandemic process continues, the presence of people who state that they are against vaccination despite the increasing number of cases and deaths makes this research necessary. This study, which was conducted using a quantitative method, reported striking results. The study observed positive changes in the anti-vaccine attitudes depending on the age and education levels of the participants. In addition, the study concluded that the participants trusted the statements of the Ministry of Health at a level of 70.1% as a reliable source of information.
