Abstract:

Globalized public health problems require global solutions. Medical science, HIV/AIDS, bird flu, increased mother-baby deaths and other national and global health problems cannot be dealt with alone, so multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary interactions are facing us in the public health field. This study, as a result of the increase in the number of cases of mother-baby deaths in Turkey, is also the implementation of the TC Ministry of Health, which has launched and continues the "safe motherhood" project in cooperation with the President of the European Union Coordination Office (Mother deaths Research, Civil Society Organizations Capacity Increase, Reproductive Health Service Education Capacity Increase, Reproductive Health Program Life Cycle Approach and Safe Motherhood, Family Planning, Sexually Transmitted Diseases, Mass Communication Campaign for the Increase of Social Awareness, etc. On the basis of the practices carried out to patients by women's birth experts and educational nurses in the Zeynep Kamil Women's and Child Diseases Education Research Hospital, a case analysis was carried out and evaluated from the point of view of preventive health communication.
