Abstract:

Acrodermatitis is an enteropathic rare disease resulting in a lack of zinc, with autosomal resessive heritage. Disruption of the intestinal absorption of zinc causes a lack of zinc. Cause of zinc deficiency is periorifycial dermatitis, diarrhea, alopecia and developmental tension. Skin outcomes are often seen in the periorifusal and acral areas in the form of exematises, psoriasiforms, bulbs and pulmonary lesions. Clinical findings occur four to six weeks after the breast milk is cut or in babies who don’t have breast milk after birth. With the systemic support of zinc, clinical findings improve rapidly. This disease, which can be mixed with many different dermatozes due to its clinical similarities and rare occurrences and can be diagnosed over time, may seem fatal when diagnosed, along with the appearance of morbidities. Here we intended to present the six-month acrodermatitis enteropathic phenomenon because it is rare and instructive.
