İnsanoğlunun varlık gösterdiği milattan önceki yıllarda örtünme, soğuktan korunma amacıyla önce yaprak, dal gibi aksesuarlar ve ardından giysiler kullanılmaya başlanmıştır. O günlerden günümüze uzanan giyinme, temel ihtiyaç olmasıyla beraber insanların kendini bir nevi ifade ediş biçimi, statü belirtisi olarak hayatlarında yer bulmuştur.İnsanlar sanatı; içinde bulundukları zaman dilimi, yaşadıkları coğrafya, ekonomik ve siyasi koşullar gibi çeşitli değişkenlere bağlı yorumlamışlardır. İnsanoğlunun sosyal ve etkileşimli bir varlık olması nedeniyle bir sürü bakış açısı ile ortaya farklı sanat yorumlamaları çıkmıştır. Sanat akımlarının temelini oluşturan bu sanat yorumlamaları sanatçılara ilham olup onların yaratıcılıklarıyla birleşip edebiyat, resim, heykel, mimari ve moda gibi alanlarda eserler olarak ortaya çıkmıştır. Bu akımlardan biri olan minimalizm 1960’larda başlayıp günümüze kadar ulaşmıştır. Pop Art akımına tepki olarak doğmuş; sadeliği, yalınlığı ve tek noktaya dikkat çekmeyi vurgulayan bir akımdır. Minimalizmde siyah, beyaz ve pastel renkler ön plandadır. Modada yansıması ise kalıpların, insan siluetine uygunluğuyla yakalanan rahatlık, kumaş, dikiş kalitesi ve minimum detaylı giysiler şeklinde yer almaktadır. Bu çalışmada literatür taraması yapılarak alan yazın araştırması ve metin analizi yapılmıştır.Minimalizm sanat akımını benimseyip tasarımlarında vurgulayan bir Türk Moda Tasarımcısı Nihan Peker koleksiyonları incelenmiştir.
In the years before the milth of human existence, covering, protecting from the cold, accessories such as leaves, branches and then clothes began to be used. The clothing that goes from those days to the present day, with the basic need, has found the place in the lives of people as a form of self-expression, a sign of status.The people have interpreted the time they are in the art, the geography, the economic and political conditions in which they live, related to various variables. Because humanity is a social and interactive being, different art interpretations have emerged from a lot of perspectives. These art interpretations, which form the foundation of the art flows, have inspired the artists and combined with their creativity and appeared as works in the fields such as literature, painting, sculpture, architecture and fashion. Minimalism, one of these flows, began in the 1960s and reached today. Pop Art is a stream that emphasizes the simplicity, simplicity and attention to the single point as a response to the stream. In minimalism, black, white and pastel colors are in the forefront. The reflection in fashion is in the form of the patterns, the comfort captured with conformity to the human silhouette, the fabric, the quality of clothes and the minimum detailed clothes. In this study, literature scan was conducted in the field of summer research and text analysis. A Turkish fashion designer Nihan Peker, who adopts the art stream of minimalism and emphasizes its designs, has been studied.
